Ballet Arizona is the Southwest’s premiere professional ballet company. Now in its 18th season, Ballet Arizona is dedicated to preserving and celebrating classical dance while creating and commissioning new, innovative works. Ballet Arizona is under the artistic direction of internationally-acclaimed choreographer Ib Andersen, who was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for over a decade. Performances are regularly held at The Orpheum Theatre and Symphony Hall in Phoenix, and at various theatres throughout the state. Ballet Arizona is also passionately committed to educational and outreach opportunities, reaching over 40,000 children every year.
