Scottsdale Golf Courses
Located in Fountain Hills, on the east edge of
Scottsdale, We-Ko-Pa (the Yavapai pronunciation
for "Four Peaks Mountain") presents a
unique alternative to the already upscale Scottsdale
golf market. Designed by noted golf course architect
Scott Miller, the golf course was created to play
a challenging 7,225 yards from the back tees, but
with multiple tee boxes that are well spaced to
cater to players of all calibers.
Like the eagle soaring over the horizon that proudly
adorns their logo, The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain
nestled in the colorful mountains ranges of the
desert, is a natural wonder. Framed by the rocky
red and brown slopes of the McDowell Mountain ravines
Eagle mountain is a spectacular representation
of man's creation in harmony with nature as it
winds through natural box canyons, rolling hills,
and lush desert valleys.
Nestled between the canyon walls of the McDowell
Mountain foothills, this course is expertly placed
like the missing piece to a beautiful golf course
puzzle that evolved over millions of years in the
Sonoran Desert. Only its natural beauty rivals
the drama that this course offers.
Monument
Located in north Scottsdale, Troon North Golf
Club stands as the epitome of the desert golf experience.
The course stretches through the natural canyons
and foothills in the high Sonoran desert resting
at the base of famous local landmark, Pinnacle
Peak.
Pinnacle Golf Course
The Pinnacle Course is Monument’s younger
but more aggressive sibling. Pinnacle is even
more challenging and offers even more elevation
changes and more of the wonderful, panoramic views
that are found on Monument. One of Tom Weiskopf’s
early solo efforts, Pinnacle announced to the
world that this designer was destined for great
things.
Indian Bend
The Indian Bend course at Camelback is a traditional American links-style course. Indian Bend was created in a beautiful setting with lush eucalyptus and palm-lined fairways, mountain backdrops and scenic water holes. The 7,014-yard, 18-hole, par 72 course will be sure to test your skills
Padre
The Padre course is a
fun and challenging golf course. The Padre Course features subtle landforms, towering trees and impressive bunkering to sharpen your game. This 6,903-yard, par 72 design is known for its challenging water holes and strategic layout.
The 9th hole at Padre Course was recently voted best water hole in the state by Arizona Golf Magazine.
Golf Club of Estrella offers challenging
play in the midst of breathtaking beauty. Following
in his father's legendary footsteps, Jack Nicklaus
II's daily-fee championship course is golf
in the traditional sense-- challenging yet
forgiving, and always spectacular.
Ironwood/Acacia/Mesquite
The three unique nine-hole layouts at Kierland
combine the best of desert and parkland golf.
Saddle-shaped fairways on many holes make this
course a bit more user-friendly than the typical
desert-style course but even the most advanced
players will find plenty of challenge.
Blue/White/Gold
Ocotillo is the best of the tropical-style golf
courses in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. In
a refreshing departure from our many desert-style
courses, Ocotillo features water on nearly
all of its 27 holes. Framed by beautiful palm
trees, waterfalls, and flower beds, this will
remind you of some of the great south Florida
courses. Managed by Troon Golf, you’ll
find the great service and pristine conditions
you expect at a Troon facility.
Desert/Canyon/Oasis
Located on the south slope of famous Camelback
Mountain, this 27-hole property is comprised
of three distinctive and memorable nine-hole
layouts, each named after the surrounding flora
and landscape.
North
This unusual design successfully incorporates
traditional Scottish Links features with modern
American desert golf. Ben Crenshaw and his
design partner Bill Coore have received several
awards for modern design for their work at
Talking Stick.
South
Tree lined fairways, elevated greens, and
deep greenside bunkers are characteristics
of Talking Stick South. Another Ben Crenshaw/Bill
Coore design, the South golf course is rapidly gaining
respect and admiration from the golf community.
Although it sits side-by-side with the North
course, The South exhibits a totally different
personality.
Cattail
Cattail offers three lake features and the
winding, man-made recreation of the original
Gila River that flowed through the area when
Native Americans inhabited this land.
Devil’s Claw
Slightly less demanding than Cattail, Devil’s
Claw features the same gently rolling desert
landscape. Generous fairways give way to demanding
approaches. The golf course reflects the plant palette
indigenous to the Gila River - Mesquite, Saguaro,
Palo Verde, and Cottonwood blend with native
grasses to recreate the Gila River as it was
when the waters still flowed on the reservation.
A favorite among knowledgeable local players,
this course is one of the truly fun rounds
of golf in Phoenix. The design offers great
variety with some wide and some narrow fairways,
undulating greens, and plenty of risk/reward
opportunities.
Faldo
Nick Faldo, winner of three Masters and three
British opens, has created a masterpiece at
Wildfire. His newest creation is the 18-hole
course, the Faldo, located directly adjacent
to the Palmer Course. The par 71 layout sits
on a 174-acre site, and offers a slight variation
from typical Sonoran Desert-theme Arizona golf courses.
Palmer
This Palmer Signature course delivers a target
golf experience, while the expansive fairways
allow the golfer to remain in play even on
errant shots. The Arnold Palmer personality
shines through with his sweeping fairways and
many risk/reward opportunities.
North
The Boulders is famous as one of the finest golf
resorts in the United States. It features 2 championship
quality courses. The North course is the older
of the two and features bent grass with spectacular
views as the course meanders through the Boulders
community.
South
The South course provides its players with much
of the same experience they would find on the North
course. The scenic views and desert beauty will
continue - with even more locations for the perfect
KODAK moment. While the North course is the original
offering from the resort, many people believe that
the South course is the most scenic.
According to club designer Robert Trent Jones
Jr., 'This isn't just another golf course'. Few
courses in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area can boast the
attributes and amenities of Dove Valley. It is
unsurpassed in natural beauty and play. At every
turn, brilliant greens contrast with the desert's
muted palette of Ocotillo, Saguaro, Ironwood, Palo
Verde and Cholla and there is never a dull fairway
or green setting.
Come on out and experience the feel of a Scottsdale
golf courses without the Scottsdale green fees. This
is a golf club fashioned for the golfer with a
sense of discovery and it's a challenging golf
experience for golfers with a love for the game.
It is highlighted by wide-open fairways that complement
the spirit of the Old West.
Dinosaur Mountain
Gold Canyon blends the panoramic views of the
Superstition Mountains and the natural Sonoran
desert setting into a truly memorable golf experience.
Ranked by Golf Digest as one of Arizona's top-rated
public courses, the Dinosaur Mountain course wraps
up, over and around picturesque Dinosaur Mountain
and offers breathtaking tee to green elevation
changes and long, loping fairways.
Sidewinder
The Sidewinder Course opened in 1998, and essentially
is made up of the old front nine built by Greg
Nash at Gold Canyon in 1985, and a new front nine
done by the club's superintendent, Stuart Penge.
Similar to its sibling, Sidewinder is also deeply
interwoven into the Superstition Mountains. Instead
of unwinding up the mountain, it snakes around
the base of Dinosaur Mountain, through natural
arroyos and dry creek beds.
Talon
The Talon Course, designed by former U.S. Open
and PGA Champion David Graham and architect Gary
Panks, is one of the most exciting and dramatic
of Arizona's golf courses. In fact the 7,001-yard,
par-72 Talon course was recently named among Golf
Magazine's 'Top 10 You Can Play in U.S.' and has
been selected to host many prestigious events,
including the finals of the inaugural Andersen
Consulting World Championship of Golf in 1995.
Raptor
The Raptor Course, which opened in 1995, is very
scenic and has unique views that could catch any
golfers' eye, including the large lake that is
adjacent to the clubhouse and hole #18, a 521-yard,
par 5. Designed by Tom Fazio, the course offers
a thrilling golf challenge that commands a player's
respect through a daring, high-stakes game of risk
and reward.
Few courses in the Valley offer such spectacular
vistas and subsequent shot making as Las Sendas.
For those who survive the first three holes in
even par, there is hope. But even for those who
go down early, the beauty surrounding them on each
hole revives their spirits.
Many of our guests like to sneak in an extra round
on their arrival or departure day. The Legacy Golf
Resort is ideal with its location just 15 minutes
from Phoenix/Sky Harbor International Airport and
its challenging and enjoyable Gary Panks design.

panoramic vistas, including some of the areas well-known
landmarks such as Pinnacle Peak. The course is

the Scottsdale/Phoenix region. The layout features

Mountains and adjacent to the nationally recognized
Westworld equestrian center, Sanctuary is more
than a stunning 18-hole daily-fee golf course.

transformed the Bureau of Reclamation's storm water
retention area into a 6,624-yard, par-71 layout
that provides a haven for native plants and wildlife.
Stadium
The TPC Stadium course is a resort-style layout
operated by the PGA Tour and offers you the opportunity
