Biography of Andrew Bloom
Andrew has come a long way from the 12 year old boy when he was removed from his home in Los Angeles. His parents had divorced, and his mother struggled to put food on the table, suffered from clinical depression, and was physically abusive. Andrew was placed in Vista Del Mar, where he lived for two years until a suitable home was found.
From its original mission in 1908 as an orphanage. Vista Del Mar has evolved to the forefront of dealing with victims of child abuse, neglect, abandonment, domestic violence and family dysfunction.
At 17 years old, Andrew had dropped out of high school in an effort to be self sufficient. He earned his G.E. D. (high school equivalency degree) and moved to Arizona. At 19 he was living on the balcony of a downstairs apartment, using the physical education showers at Scottsdale Community College to bathe. He has come a long way from dropping out of school to graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in social work.
At 21 Andrew married his college girlfriend. Today, Andrew and Barbara Bloom have been married 20 years and have four beautiful children. Andrew has tremendous knowledge and influence in the Scottsdale Real Estate Market. In 2005 he was selected by the Business Journal as one of Phoenix's Forty under 40.
Andrew has been a member of Chairman's Club since the inception of the award in 2003, and Platinum Club recipient each year prior to 2003. Andrew's success was built on integrity, hard work and discipline. He follows up with every client, surrounds himself with successful people, and recognizes the value of creating intentional relationships.
Andrew's goal is to have his children work beside him in the business. In the near future he looks forward to receiving the highest award available to RE/MAX associates, the Circle of Legends awarded to associates who have earned $10 million dollars during their association with RE/MAX.
Andrew's contributions to charities such as Susan G. Komen breast cancer research and Children's Miracle Network, along with many other civic activities, helps Andrew to remember those less fortunate, and to give back to a community that has given so much. Biography of David Van Omen
David was born in Holland, MI and grew up in a beautiful Dutch town. His family moved in 1975 when he was 15 to Scottsdale, AZ. David graduated from Saguaro High School and went on to earn a degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Arizona. Upon graduation, he immediately joined and then became partners with his father in Real Estate. When his father passed away suddenly, at the age of 59, David pressed on. He has successfully sold real estate in Scottsdale and the surrounding valley for 29 years and has consistently achieved the highest awards available to Re/Max agents including both the Platinum and Chairman' s Club awards ranking him in the top 1% of all Re/Max agents nationwide. His clients appreciate his easygoing communication style and listening skills. His approach is knowledge and fact based and being a bottom line guy himself, he knows how to deliver the information easily. "I love my job and helping people realize their dreams".
When not working, everyone knows you can find David on the golf course. An avid golfer, David fell in love with the game at age 9 where he would be found playing 36 holes of golf in the snow! His undying passion and skill has helped create a vast knowledge of all the AZ golf courses making him the "realtor of choice" for many fellow golfers from around the country. He's been a member at the Pinnacle Peak Country Club since 2005 and continues to sponsor and play in many charity events throughout the year. His trophies are yet another sign of his level of achievement and commitment to excellence.
Today, he and his wife Debi live in north Scottsdale in the Grayhawk community. College sweethearts, they have now been married 28 years and have two boys, David and Michael. Both sons are currently attending ASU. This family loves the Arizona lifestyle and can often be found hiking, golfing or boating on any of the lakes or skiing on the slopes.
