8th Annual Larry Fitzgerald’s Fitz’s Supper Club Red Carpet and Event was Hi-LARRY-ous

Larry Fitzgerald is one of the most loved and respected players in the NFL. On Monday, August 29 Larry and his friends gathered for the 8th Annual Fitz’s Supper Club, Celebrities at YOUR Service and Scottsdale.com was on the red carpet to talk with some of the special guests.

Dominick’s Steakhouse, located in the Scottsdale Quarter, hosts the 8th Annual Fitz’s Supper Club, Celebrities at YOUR Service with performances sure that kept guests laughing all night. Guests were invited to a night of comedy and charity, enjoying a four-course dinner served by Larry’s Arizona Cardinals teammates and celebrity friends.

Fitz’s Supper Club is dubbed one of the Valley’s hottest social, philanthropic and entertainment events, and this year it brought laughter with its theme, “Hi-LARRY-ous!” Last year’s Fitz’s Supper Club event sold out within weeks and raised more than half a million dollars to support various worthy organizations through the Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund.

Emceeing the event again this year, was 4 time NBA Champion and television host John Salley, who made his comedic comeback. Joining him was the always-entertaining Sinbad, a fan favorite for sure, Singer and actress, Jordin Sparks, along with Hall of Fame NFL players, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns and a plethora of Fitz’s teammates such as Carson Palmer, Patrick Peterson, Calais Campbell and Michael Floyd, who in the past years have made this a must attend event on their calendars.

“We are excited to be helping Larry on his event for another year. This is one of our favorite events here at Dominick’s Steakhouse and we are honored to assist in making sure as much of the funds as possible go to those in need,” said Jeffrey Mastro, co-owner of Dominick’s Steakhouse.

Larry is known as one of the NFL’s most electrifying players making big plays on the field while stacking up pro football records year after year. However it is his community involvement and passion to give back to the community that inspire him to score off the field. What drives Larry is the work he does to support those in the most challenging situations. The focus of The Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund is to support organizations that work with youth to promote reading and to close the technology gap. In addition, in honor of his mother, Larry and the First Down Fund support organizations that work to cure cancer and to provide support to cancer survivors. During the past 12 months, The Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund has distributed grants to the following non-profits: Big Brothers Big Sisters, Harvest Network of Schools, Hiawatha Academies, Patrick Henry High School, Plano Child Development Center, Treasure House, Minneapolis College Preparatory School, Treasure House, YWCA Bethlehem, DonorsChoose, American Cancer Society, Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund, African American Breast Cancer Alliance, Food for the Poor, Patrick Peterson Foundation, Anquan Boldin Foundation, The CRC Foundation, The Eric Dickerson Foundation, Brees Dream Foundation, Academy of Holy Angels, and the PGA Foundation. The Larry Fitzgerald First Down Fund will continue this tradition of providing much needed assistance to many worthy causes through your support at tonight’s Fitz’s Supper Club, Celebrities at YOUR Service event.
