The Arizona Diamondbacks

For the first time in team history, all 162 D-backs games will be televised and 25 games will be offered in a Spanish broadcast in 2016

PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks announced today that all 162 regular season games will be televised in 2016, including 158 games on FOX Sports Arizona and FOX Sports Arizona Plus, the exclusive home of D-backs baseball. The remaining four games will be broadcast on FS1 and ESPN. In addition, for the very first time FOX Sports Arizona Plus will televise 25 games in Spanish.

FOX Sports Arizona Plus will televise games on April 5 vs. Rockies, April 9 vs. Cubs and April 13 at Dodgers as well as 25 games in Spanish throughout the season. Three games (April 26 vs. Cardinals, May 21 at Cardinals, Sept. 19 at Padres) will be broadcast nationally on FS1 and ESPN will broadcast games on July 10 at Giants and Sept. 7 at Dodgers (FOX Sports Arizona will also televise the game).

D-backs games on FOX Sports Arizona and FOX Sports Arizona Plus will feature Steve Berthiaume calling the play-by-play action and Bob Brenly as analyst. FOX Sports Arizona launches its 19th season of televising D-backs baseball with a special one-hour pre-game show starting at 5:30 p.m. on April 4, prior to the Opening Day game against the Colorado Rockies at Chase Field.

FOX Sports Arizona will air its "Diamondbacks Live" pre-game show before telecasts from the site of the game. “Diamondbacks Live,” presented by CenturyLink, will air post-game after each D-backs game this year as well. FOX Sports Arizona's pre- and post-game shows will air live from Chase Field's Coors Light Strike Zone for home-game telecasts. Once again, FOX Sports Arizona’s D-backs talent will include Todd Walsh, Jody Jackson, Joe Borowski and former D-backs star and Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb. In addition, the “Diamondbacks 10th Inning” will return in 2016, as the monthly magazine show gives viewers an up-close view of the D-backs’ organization, its players and its fans. Another fan favorite program from 2015 – “The Local 9” will return in 2016, as will “Cup of Coffee with Steve Berthiaume.” FOX Sports Arizona will also debut a new program called “Los D-backs.” The program celebrates baseball’s Hispanic influence with profiles of D-backs players featuring interviews conducted in their native language with English subtitles to give viewers a closer-than-ever look at their personalities.

FOX Sports Arizona Plus will offer Spanish telecasts for 25 games throughout the season with Óscar Soria calling the play-by-play action and former D-backs pitcher Rodrigo López serving as color analyst. Soria and López can also be heard on La Mejor 1400 AM during non-televised games as Soria enters his 18th full season as the play-by-play voice and López enters his third full season on the D-backs Spanish-language radio broadcasts.
