Stand Up Live Fundraiser Features ‘Last Comic Standing’ Headliner, Rocky LaPorte

Stand Up Live is having a very special fundraiser and all ages show 5-10 p.m. Sunday, April 10 to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Live! (Comedy, Music & Art) for Life is presented by Bru-ha-ha Comedy Productions and Baylee’s Wish.

The fun evening of comedy, art and music kicks off at 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour, silent auction and live music by Black Bottom Lighters. Live speed painter Randall Hedden will also be on hand to entertain the crowd. At 7 p.m., the comedy hits the stage with emcee Boomer Nichols who will bring up George Kanter, Jared Campbell and headlining comic Rocky LaPorte of “Last Comic Standing.” Other special guests will also be announced – you never know who might show up!

Emcee and comic Nichols says, “I started this annual show five years ago for my daughter Baylee, a cancer survivor. She is proud that we can make people laugh while giving back to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and making her proud is what matters to me because she's my hero."

Tickets are $50 a piece and there is a two drink minimum. All proceeds will go to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Purchase tickets here. Stand Up Live is located at 50 W. Jefferson St. #200, Phoenix. Call (480) 719-6100 or visit for additional information.
