Dr. Grace Haynes joining Verve Wellness Center by Lynette Carrington Verve Wellness Center has been an East Valley destination for those seeking expert and personalized medical care in a beautiful and upscale environment. In addition to chiropractic and massage treatments, patients will find doctors in family practice, internal medicine, general dental, cosmetic dental, oral surgery and endodontics and prosthodontics. Rounding out the Verve Wellness Center of services is a Class C surgical and pain center located on Broadway and Power in Mesa. Dr. Grace Haynes joined the Verve Wellness family last month as a family practitioner and she brings with her a wealth of medical experience and knowledge as well as a warm and caring manner towards her patients. After 22 years in Arizona, Dr. Grace Haynes could certainly be considered an honorary native! After having her own practice for many years in Arizona, she has now joined Verve Wellness Center, adding to its multi-dimensional practice. “I chose to start working with Verve Wellness Center because I like the concept of integrating all disciplines of medicine,” states Dr. Haynes. “I’m hoping to be able to do a whole health type of curriculum with the allopathic medicine. It’s an approach to have a patient ‘write their own wellness prescriptions,’ meaning that there are other disciplines and things we can do to help them heal.” Dr. Haynes first became aware of Verve Wellness Center and its founder, Dr. David Warkentin when a patient of hers mentioned that she had been to the forward-thinking practice. “She said that she thought I would be a fit over there,” says Dr. Haynes. After doing some research, she decided to bring her expertise to Verve. She has been active in doing foreign medical missions with her church, The Grove, something she continues to embrace and love doing for others who are less fortunate. “I’ve been to Liberia a couple of times and Dr. Warkentin and I have that as a similar interest.” In fact, Dr. Haynes and Dr. Warkentin are looking into the possibility of traveling together on a medical mission to Malawi this year. Dr. Haynes attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she also completed her residency. She is board certified and ready to accept new patients. She is currently available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and the practice accepts almost all insurance carriers. Verve Wellness Center is located at 4824 E. Baseline Rd., #140, just west of Higley Road in Mesa. Visit www.vervewellnesscenter.com or call (480) 969-4040 for additional information or to schedule an appointment.
